Fresh Faces: New Talent in the House

We are thrilled to introduce two new dynamic leaders to the Richmond Hill City Center team:

April Cameron, General Manager

With experience in event planning and venue management, April brings a wealth of knowledge and a fresh perspective to the City Center.

“I love to help our guests with ideas to make their special day even more spectacular,” said April Cameron. “By being involved in so many different events, I get to see some great ideas that look and feel fantastic and will work in our space.”

April started her career in nonprofit marketing and event planning in the Atlanta area. She moved to Anderson, South Carolina, where she was executive director of the Anderson Arts Center. April’s focus on exceptional customer service and creative solutions ensures every event is tailored to perfection.

Doris Purser, Program & Events Manager

Doris joins us with a passion for connecting with clients and an eye for detail that guarantees a seamless planning process. Doris has experience in programming and event planning through a career in senior living facility management and her dedicated service to the Richmond Hill community through the civic organizations in which she is involved.

One of the key pillars of our service philosophy is flexibility. From intimate boardroom meetings to elegant parties, the City Center offers a range of customizable spaces to suit your needs.

The City Center offers 26,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor event spaces, including 10 meeting room configurations and a ballroom that accommodates 300 guests.

• Weddings, Rehearsal Dinners and Wedding Receptions – with indoor ballrooms and outdoor garden areas, our wedding spaces provide exceptional photographic moments for gathering, saying I Do, and dancing the night away.
• Conferences - for businesses and professional associations, we offer multiple rooms that accommodate large crowds, as well as smaller breakout sessions. Our outdoor spaces and veranda are great break areas for fresh air, downtime and cocktail receptions.
• Graduation parties – Celebrate your child’s success with space large enough for both friends and family.
• Family reunions – Reconnect with loved ones and make new memories in spaces suited for a royal family.
• Awards banquets – Host a year-end celebration and to give accolades to those who deserve it.

Preferred Caterers

Here is more big news: Want to bring in your own caterer? You can!

Choose from a preferred list of caterers and vendors (see below) who carry the necessary insurance and licenses to perform outstanding services as they do across the Savannah area. However, if you have a caterer of your choice, we welcome them as well with proper credentials, including business insurance and licensing.
